David Bagley, Chairman and CEO

David Bagley is a proven entrepreneur and business leader. Over a five-year time frame as Chief Strategy Officer for Retek, he crafted the alliance and acquisitions strategy critical to growing Retek from a small point solution into a dominant market position that resulted in a successful 1999 IPO. David then served as Chief Operating Officer of Optimi where he grew the company from seed stage venture to market leadership with more than 200 employees within 2 years.

David holds an MA from Oxford University in England.

George Reese, President and COO

George Reese has a diverse background that began with work on television shows in Hollywood. He has spent the past decade leading the convergence of technology and marketing on the Internet with large companies like WPP'S JWT (formerly known as J. Walter Thompson) and Carlson Marketing Group as well as startups like Ancept and Imaginet. While at Imaginet, he created the operational processes that made it possible for Imaginet to double revenues in 1 year to $12M and achieve a successful exit in the acquisition by JWT.

George is the author of several books on Internet and enterprise technologies, including Java Database Best Practices and Managing and Using MySQL and speaks at conferences worldwide.

George has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Philosophy from Bates College in Lewiston, ME.

George Hadjiyanis, VP, Sales and Marketing

George brings to Valtira over 15 years of proven experience in Marketing, Product Management and Sales Operations for early stage and established firms. George was most recently vice president of Marketing and Sales Operations for Zomax, a provider of software supply chain services. Prior to Zomax, George was vice president of Marketing at Agiliti, a hosting services provider now owned by SunGard, where he led the expansion into new markets and solutions growing over 300% in three years. Prior to Agiliti, George led Product Management for data archiving solutions at WAM!NET, launching a suite of products and driving new channel programs.

George holds an MBA in Strategic Management and International Marketing from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Stacey Roelofs, VP, Operations

Stacey Roelofs has over 20 years of progressive legal and management experience. Prior to joining Valtira, Stacey developed her operational skills from Target Corporation, J. Walter Thompson, and Thomson West. She improved project profitability by 30% at Imaginet by instituting quality assurance and continuous process improvement. In her current position with Valtira, she combines her legal expertise with her interactive marketing and management skills to be a strategic leader in delivering cutting edge integrated marketing web sites built on the Valtira Online Marketing Platform.

Stacey is a licensed attorney, who received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and her B.A. in Spanish and English from the University of Minnesota.

Gregory A. Effertz, Board Member and Financial Advisor

Greg Effertz has more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership positions, including 15+ years in various senior roles at public companies. He has twice led a company through a successful IPO process. Most recently, Greg served as CFO and Executive Vice President for Minneapolis-based Retek Inc from 1997 through 2005. Greg was responsible for overall financial management of the company, as well as multiple corporate functions including investor relations, IT infrastructure, legal, and employee benefits. In 2005 Greg led the sale of Retek to Oracle Corporation.

Greg is a CPA and holds a BA in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin.

Morgan Catlin, Simplicis Product Director

Morgan Catlin has spent his career building enterprise-level, web-based technology systems for Fortune 1000 clients. Valtira brought Morgan on board as the Simplicis Product Manager in Valtira's acquisition of the Rolecall Identity Management System (now called Simplicis Identity). Prior to building Rolecall, he worked as a enterprise Java developer with JWT and Imaginet. While there, he built transactional marketing systems for National Cable Communications, the Ford Motor Company, and other Fortune 1000 clients.

Morgan holds a BA in Philosophy and Computer Science from the University of St. Thomas.
